SAS Programmer I

What we are looking for

We are looking for a SAS Programmer to join our Patient-Centered Outcomes in Boston! You will have a graduate degree in Quantitative Psychology, Educational Measurement, Biostatistics, Statistics, Epidemiology, Mathematics or a related field and experience of SAS programming, ideally involving health or clinical trial data. An understanding of the field of outcomes research and a genuine interest in psychometric analysis is desired. Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills are essential.

How you fit in

As a key member of our global Statistics and Programming team, you will help us improve patients’ lives and investigate healthcare value by developing and designing the SAS programs that analyze and report clinical outcomes data in accordance with developed Statistical Analysis Plans (SAP) and regulatory requirements. You will leverage your knowledge and experience in the development, maintenance and production of analysis datasets, tables, figures and data listings. Technical requirements include hands-on experience with PROC REPORT, ODS OUTPUT and SAS macro language. Familiarity with statistical procedures such as PROC GLM and PROC MIXED is preferred.  You should be comfortable combining and merging several datasets that may be organized in a complicated manner (such as diary data) and familiarity with PROC SQL is preferred.  You should also have experience in analyzing CDISC ADaM and STDM data formats.
